At the risk of repeating myself, I've been here before. And one of the things in Vilnius that caught my attention was this plaque on the front wall of the Vilnius City Hall:
Fast forward to now. Every other conversation involving our Austrian riders ends up on the topic of the arrest and release, in Austria, of Mikhail Golovatov, wanted by Lithuania for his role in the bloody events of January 1991. This is a very sensitive topic in the Baltic States, for obvious reasons, but of course nobody is blaming these particular Austrians.
Down to the point. What kind of Union are we building when Member States are at odds with each other and we see Texas rhetoric elevated to the likes of World Heritage recognition?
